HAND GUARD Edition Single Flex:

Featuring a single-side tilting saw unit, tilt range: 0-46°; equipped with a quick-change system for the main saw blade, motorized height and tilt adjustment for the main saw blade. Provides motorized height and tilt adjustment and a maximum saw blade projection of 154 mm. The control panel is at eye level, allowing you to adjust the saw blade's height and tilt and, depending on the selected control package, call up speed settings and additional functions. The Altendorf double roller carriage is renowned for its smooth operation and precision running. It can be locked in infinitely variable positions at any location. The large double rollers ensure that the upper carriage is kept perfectly aligned with the lower carriage via precision guide rails. This quality of operation is maintained even after decades of heavy use and exposure to dust. The carriage structure features an extremely rigid, multi-chamber design that is highly resistant to torsion and deformation. Additionally, there is a front support roller with a width of 300 mm.

HAND GUARD Single-Side Tilting: The HAND GUARD system is based on early detection of hazardous situations and protects the operator from injury, functioning in every working condition. The camera-based system recognizes the hands and, using artificial intelligence, can predict their trajectory in advance. Different safety zones—from non-hazardous to triggering the system—are visually indicated to the operator via an LED color strip to alert them of potential danger. If the danger persists, or if the hand moves directly towards the rotating saw blade, the blade is rapidly lowered without causing damage to people, the machine, or the material. HAND GUARD supports the processing of all materials permitted on panel saws, such as wet lumber, aluminum, and plastics. By default, it cannot be deactivated and remains continuously active. Saw blades on single-side tilting machines up to 500 mm can be completely lowered below the worktable. All approved, existing, or used tools can be utilized—no special requirements.
