CG 3 – Stop Point Grinder for Die-Cutting Tools

Featuring pneumatic drive for high traction force and a patented hold-down system. Ensures burr-free grinding of stop points while maintaining the function of the rubber lining.

The pneumatic drive uses compressed air to deliver a very high, constant traction force that is available at all times without the need for, for example, charging cycles or battery changes. The fabric-reinforced compressed air hose is extremely flexible.

Thanks to the large contact surface, tilting during grinding is prevented. This allows the operator to grind stop points straight and precisely. The depth of the stop point can be set exactly using the depth adjustment.

The patented hold-down system for rubber linings and ejection materials prevents grinding into the rubber or profile. The advantage: fewer and smaller stop points are required, and the performance of the die-cutting tool’s rubber lining is preserved. The stop point grinder is available in versions for corrugated board and solid board. The attachments are matched to the common widths of diamond grinding wheels used for corrugated and solid board.

With diamond grinding wheels, breakers can be set optimally. Compared to stone grinding wheels, they are extremely robust and thus more resistant to breakage. They are also more durable and sustainable. The stop point grinder is supplied with the appropriate diamond grinding wheel for the device in the desired size.

Manual stop point tools are ideal for use with the stop point grinder. The chisels can be used to enlarge the stop points after grinding if required. Two manual stop point tools are also included in the package free of charge.
