The resulting dirt particles, emulsion and oil mist, as well as smoke, are captured directly at the source and routed through the individual filter stages. The separated liquid collects at the bottom of the unit and can be returned to the machining center via the siphon. In the first filter stage, larger particles are retained by an aluminum pre-filter to protect the downstream high-performance fleece filters. The second filter stage separates the majority of the fine emulsion and oil mist. This stage consists of an aluminum frame equipped with a filter mat of type G4 and a filter mat of type F5 in accordance with DIN 24185 / EN 779. The filter mats must be replaced as needed, depending on the degree of contamination. The third filter stage consists of a large-area HEPA filter of class H13, guaranteeing a consistently high efficiency of 99.95% for particles of 0.3μ DOP and larger. Type testing according to DIN EN 1822-1 H13 permits the recirculation of filtered air back into the workspace.
