Line composition and equipment

WEINIG GRECON HS 120 finger jointing machine – year of manufacture 2018
Complete work line including a brush infeed conveyor for wooden elements, two throughfeed moulders, automatic glue applicator, pre-jointing station for finger-jointed elements, and a 6.5-metre-long press.

Automatic finger jointer loading – ABB robotic station
ABB IRB 6640 four-axis robot to carry out automated loading of wooden elements up to 600 mm in length. The system is equipped with two pallet stations, enabling continuous, alternating operation of the entire line without downtime. Year of robotic station construction: 2021.

Automatic glue supply system
Automatic glue suction system to the finger jointer from a 1,000-litre IBC tank. Integrated automatic mixer ensures consistent glue application quality and continuity of the production process.

Discharge of elements after pressing – FAMAD scissor lift
FAMAD DBNA-40T DUO scissor lift installed at the finger jointing press, intended for the discharge of mouldings after the jointing process. Automatic height adjustment. Working table dimensions: 6.0 m x 1.3 m.

Material handling system
Roller conveyor system including turntables, ensuring transport of lamellas both to the robotic loading cell and the finger jointer. The solution enables smooth material logistics and continuous operation of the entire line.

Roller buffer magazine for finger-jointed elements
Roller storage magazine for buffering and storing finger-jointed mouldings. Offloading zones totaling 82 metres in length.
