Saw Unit Guidance:

High-performance sawing technology requires the use of backlash-free and low-maintenance guide systems. Two vertically positioned square guide columns, one linear guide unit with backlash-free adjusted carriages, as well as two preloaded and adjustable guide rollers on a guide rail ensure high rigidity and cutting precision. Higher machining performances, shorter cutting times, increased saw blade life, and high system availability characterize the new KASTOtec. The guide system is maintenance-free.

Saw Blade Guidance:

Side guidance via hydraulically preloaded carbide slide guides with quick-lift device for rapid blade changes. Rear guidance via pivot-mounted carbide slide guides. Automatic adjustment of the movable blade guide according to the material width to be sawn.

Material Lift-Out Device:

After the sawing process in automatic cycle, the workpiece is retracted approx. 2 mm from the feed side by means of a material lift-out device with the material still clamped, thereby increasing blade life.
