Application
This foulard-dryer combination has proven itself excellently in practical use. It is employed for a wide range of hot air treatment processes such as drying, heat setting, condensation, thermosoling, etc. This system is used wherever a certain sample size is required, for example, for creating sample collections or similar purposes.

THN Dryer
To guarantee all the previously mentioned application options, and if the use of pin frames is desired when operating the dryer individually, the THN type version is recommended. The standard pin frames are suitable for a sample size of max. 50 x 50 cm (larger pin frames available upon request).

Alternative: Adjustable longitudinal frames are available for woven fabrics or both lengthwise and widthwise adjustable material holders for knitted goods, nonwovens, etc., as well as clamping frames for films and paper.

Drying Chamber
The drying chamber with the electric control cabinet and control panel are mounted on a base frame and bolted together as a single unit. Effective thermal insulation of the dryer is ensured by double-walled construction with intermediate insulation. The nozzle field, with a length of 1300 mm, is divided into an upper and lower nozzle compartment. Using a regulating flap, the ventilation can be set to balanced airflow above and below, or with more airflow from above or below as required.

Fan and Heating
Intensive air circulation is achieved by a powerful fan with a capacity of approximately 900–3500 m3/h, combined with a well-matched heating output, resulting in optimal evaporation performance. A dual safety monitoring system allows for lower maintenance requirements and increases the operational safety of the dryer.

The heating capacity is designed for rapid heating and is automatically reduced upon reaching the set temperatures to avoid unnecessary power peaks.

Temperature control is managed by an electronic monitoring and control device within the range of 20–250°C. The fresh air supply is brought directly to the recirculation fan by a dedicated fan. The desired amount can be set with a multi-step switch.
