The WINDOR 60 is an integrated machining center for the flexible production of windows and doors. The WINDOR 60 enables the following machining operations:
1.1 Crosscutting with specification of the finished workpiece length.
1.2 Tenoning with automatic workpiece rotation and manual feed (automatic feed available as an option) into the profiling unit. 1, 2 or 3 tenoning units (optional) are available with clamping length 620 mm, including counter bearing and Jolly/L splinter guard. Optionally, automatic execution of angled tenons (max. +/- 60°) is also available.
1.3 Drilling (optional). Drilling can be performed on the front side and/or longitudinal side of the workpieces. Dowel holes, handle recesses (olive holes), and hinge cup holes are possible.
1.4 Right side profiling. Two profiling spindles with clamping lengths of 320 mm and 620 mm (optional) are available, with counter bearing, for up to 4 units in series. All right-hand guides (optionally left-hand guides as well) are CNC controlled.
1.5 Left side profiling: For workpieces requiring profiling on the left side as well, the following is available: vertical auxiliary profiling spindle (optional) with a clamping length of 620 mm (not retractable). Up to 4 units in series possible.
1.6 Bottom and/or top profiling (optional).

1.7 Grooving for hardware (optional), continuous or interrupted grooves possible.
1.8 Cutting of glazing beads takes place in the last position on the right side of the profiling unit. The working unit is equipped with riving knife and holding device. A guide (ON/OFF controlled from CNC) ensures proper workpiece positioning.
1.9 Rebating of sash frames (optional) is performed in the profiling unit, with the right-hand setting rail serving as reference stop. The left guide, which can be manually disengaged, adapts to the work table and compensates for possible width deviations of up to 20 mm. The spindle unit, positioned at the infeed and equipped with timer control and reversible direction, serves as a splinter guard.
2.0 Operator workstation and space requirements
With the WINDOR 60, the operator is ideally positioned ergonomically in the center of the system for a clear view of the entire production process. The clamping device, open towards the operator, allows for extremely effortless loading of workpieces. Space requirements for the WINDOR 60 are minimal: thanks to its special design, the tenoning machine can be placed against a wall or in corners for optimal use of available workshop space. In the case of automated infeed to the profiling unit (optional), workpiece unloading takes place at the tenoning machine’s outfeed on the left side.
3.0 DESIGN FEATURES
3.1 Tenoning carriage
It is securely connected to the machine frame via prism guides along which it travels during machining. The drive is actuated via ball screws, ensuring smooth and accurate travel with minimal maintenance over the long term.
