The GIF kitchen ventilation ceiling is a surface-active complete solution from wall to wall, including large exhaust and supply air sections, lighting, and compensation areas, with a system height of only 200 mm. The use of the ceiling cavity as a pressure chamber in accordance with VDI 2052 allows implementation as both an "open" and "closed" system, always preserving the maximum proportion of active ventilation area. This ensures full-surface capture of frying, cooking, and other vapors, as well as low-turbulence, large-area supply air distribution. The result is a comfort climate free from condensation and drafts. The unique modular system guarantees maximum transparency and hygiene through a fully reversible design.

On the supply air side, the GIF active cassette ceiling ensures low-turbulence, large-area supply air delivery according to the displacement flow principle. Energy-efficient operation comes as standard. Thanks to the special geometry, indirect supply air distribution is achieved—even with large air volumes—at low inlet velocities and without induction impulses. Since the active cassettes are identical in both the exhaust and supply air sections, they can be freely interchanged.
