Original, early firefighting G-Class from second owner, which has never been used for civil purposes to date.

Manufacturer stated in the original documents as GFG "Geländefahrzeug-Gesellschaft", at that time a joint venture between Daimler-Benz and Steyr-Daimler-Puch in Austria. This is one of the last vehicles produced under this manufacturer, shortly afterwards the manufacturer in registration documents changed to "Daimler-Benz".

A complete MATTER roll bar was installed in the vehicle in 1991 (according to registration), and it is still present today.

Vehicle most recently used to transport a portable fire pump (TS) with suction hoses and accessories. Therefore, there are no rear seats, only a cargo area. No seats remain in the rear apart from the 2 front seats.

According to the original documents, it is a “3-seater” and vehicle type is listed as “Other vehicle, fire-fighting vehicle, incident command vehicle VRW”.

Unladen weight specified as 2,360 kg.

Permissible total weight was increased in 1991 from the original 2,900 kg to 3,030 kg.

A tow bar is not fitted, but the essential mounting bracket is present. Retrofitting and specifying trailer load is not possible, as the corresponding fields in the original registration document are marked as "not applicable".

Offer is only valid for businesses, self-employed professionals, public authorities, BOS, agriculture and forestry, and similar legal entities. Sale to private consumers is not possible. Subject to prior sale and errors.

The 280 GE is available immediately and ready for registration. Recently driven over a longer distance on the motorway without any issues. According to verbal information, the G is accident-free, but this cannot be verified and is therefore passed to the buyer only as stated verbally.

The vehicle has always been well cared for but does show signs of use. It is not a new vehicle, but you can expect sound, solid condition for a 1981 build year.
